Wave sculpted ice frames afternoon's reflection of Mt. Ritter and Banner Peak in Thousand Island Lake. Although the dark, volcanic rock of the range can be difficult to resolve photographically, late season snow clinging to ledges underscores and highlights the massif's graceful form.
