I stood in this spot for three hours one December afternoon, waiting for just the right moment as the evanescence of light and vapor ebbed and flowed over the snow laced cliffs of Middle Brother. Sentry trees peering out of the translucent veil evoke a feeling of watchful silence over their forward scout. Were the results worth the long, cold wait?
