Cloud's Rest and Mt. Starr King

On my way to catch some significant light and weather in Tuolumne Meadows, I was waylaid by the incredible sight of clearing cumulus over Cloud's Rest and layered mists in Tenaya Canyon. The setting sun shot silvery shards of light right through the canyon's cleft under and over the clouds, igniting a fiery sheen over its smooth granite slabs and the distant Mt. Starr King.
